Compliments of Dorothy Strubble, 2014
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 1/3 cup heaping flour
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 or 4 pears, peeled and halved
- 1 unbaked Pie Crust
Procedure
Cream all ingredients, except pears. Arrange fruit hollow side up in unbaked pie shell. Spread creamed mixture over fruit.
Bake @ 400 — 10 min, for@ 350 — 40 min.
Also: may use peaches, apricots, apples, etc.
