PEACH CRUMBLE PIE

Submitted by Barbara Brown, Highlands Ranch Rotarian.  This recipe is a family recipe from her Aunt Wilma.

  • 1/4  Cup               Butter
  • 1/2  Cup               Flour
  • 3/4  Cup               Sugar
  • 1/8  Teaspoon   Nutmeg
  • 2  Tablespoon   Water
  • 1                            Pie Crust
  • 5-6                        Fresh Peaches

Procedure

1   Peel and cut fresh peaches in quarters and double layer in unbaked pie crust.

2   Make crumb mixture using 1st four ingredients above.

3   Cover peaches with crumb mixture and sprinkle with 2 T. water.

4   Bake 375 degrees for 40 – 50 minutes or until crumb topping begins to brown and juices bubble.

Servings: 8
